and Drinking Straw Puppet ButterflyThis simple puppet is made from styrofoam trays and drinking straws. You can make animals, fruit, teeth, characters from stories, shapes, vehicles, and just about anything else. |

Print
butterfly template and cut it out. Clean a styrofoam tray with
warm water and detergent.
Using
a pen, draw the outline the butterfly. Cut out the animal. For
the puppet's eyes, and dots, either draw them with a pen (or marker), or cut
them out of construction paper and glue them on the puppet.Tape the back of
your styrofoam animal to the end of a drinking straw. You now have a
great butterfly puppet that you can use to put on a play or use while
reading your favorite story. |
